Civil and labor protection sector is a separate department of Bukhara State University.
Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Education" and "On the National Training Program", Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 4, 2017 No 795 On Further Improvement of the Classification ”and the approval of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of December 26, 2017 The tasks of the Department of Civil Defense and Labor Protection are as follows:
- Participate in the implementation of scientific developments on occupational safety standards, occupational safety;
- organization of participation in the work of the certification commission, which examines the knowledge of engineers, technicians and employees, rules, norms and guidelines on labor protection;
- provide methodological assistance in the development and revision of occupational safety guidelines, as well as participate in the development of programs to train workers in safe work;
- Participate in the investigation of accidents during training and production;
- Analyzes the situation and causes of accidents at the university, occupational diseases, develops measures for the prevention of accidents and occupational diseases in conjunction with the relevant services of the university, as well as the introduction of prescribed measures;
- Implementation of measures in the university departments to create a healthy and safe environment for the educational process and the work of workers;
- compliance with the rules, norms and guidelines for occupational safety in university departments;
- training of health workers, testing of knowledge;
- arrange for the provision of special clothing, footwear and other personal protective equipment;
- control over the observance of the established procedure for granting benefits to persons engaged in work in hazardous conditions;
- control over the implementation of the instructions of state control bodies, labor technical control, control bodies of the institution by the administration and heads of departments of the university;
- Participates in the certification of sanitary and technical working conditions and the organization of training of structural units;
- Participate in the implementation of scientific processing standards for occupational safety and health;
- Conducting inspections in conjunction with the relevant services of the trade union and the university, the technical condition of the premises, equipment, equipment in accordance with the rules and regulations of labor protection, effective operation of the ventilation system, sanitary condition, community of students and staff. conducting inspections of individual protective equipment;
- Selection of staff for the fire brigade of the university in conjunction with the personnel department;
- Organization of round-the-clock security of the rooms and territory of the university in accordance with the approved map;
- regular monitoring of the availability and proper storage of firefighting and firefighting equipment;
- arranging for timely preventive maintenance of firefighting equipment and replacement of defective ones with new ones;
- Instruct the guards on how to act in the event of a fire at the university, in case of arrest of strangers at night;
- Carrying out educational work with guards.
